I really should be busy doing something else, but I don't. • Instead I found the colorful collection of Rie Elise Larsen. I love especially their boxes! It reminds me on the paper things from Nauli.

Eigentlich sollte ich etwas ganz anderes tun. • Stattdessen habe ich die farbenfrohe Kollektion von Rie Elise Larsen gefunden. V. a. ihre Schachteln haben es mir angetan. Sie erinnern mich an die Papiersachen von Nauli.

Ikea Vika Lerberg - DIY Desks

Well, my move out is a pain in the neck and as I'm going to move far, it will cost me a fortune. I need to think carefully what's worth to come with me to my new place. And I want some changes, too. As money is short and I want something new, fresh and affordable. My favorite thing to change is my desk. As it will be full and needs to be large anyway, it would be nonsense to save up for one of this beautiful tiny solutions and  I will probably go with one from IKEA again...

I've seen this ideas quite a while back now and love it! What do you think?

Well, this definitely not my style, but my only unsureness about the Ikea Vika Lerberg was, that it might not be really strong. They look so thin for table legs. But if they even hold glass which can't be screwn on, I guess, I definitely need to have a look when I go to Ikea next time!

P.S. I just found one more Vika Lerberg inspiration on weekdaycarnival.blogspot.de. They cut the stands and use it for a short dining room table.

little dream desks

Although I'm struggling with my overload apartment. Especially as I'm going to move soon and I will have less space at my new place, I'm dreaming of clean and empty rooms and especially beautiful little and empty desks! It's really only a dream, as I've always loads of stuff on my desk...

Hoss Intropia Favorites

Hoss Intropia is definitely one of my favorite brands since some years now. They have an awesome mix of modern cloth with an ethno- vintage touch. And they take fair trade and fair production seriously. And that's so me! I own only 3 smashing pieces so far, but hope there'll be more in my closet soon! 


The Hoss Intropia online shop is doing a sweepstake together with bloglovin' and asks blogger to choose their favorite outfit. Well, that was a challenge for me! I love so many items from this brand!


But as there will be more weddings this summer I thought about a new outfit for the next one.

Kalligraphie

Seit ein paar Wochen interessiere ich mich für Kalligraphie. Meinst Du man kann seine Schrift mit 35 noch verändern?
Meine Lieblingsdruckschrift ist momentan Walkway Bold. Gibt es kostenlos hier.

I'm currently into calligraphie. Do you think I can make my handwriting nicer in the age of 35?

It's an acrylized World

I had a look at my closet and found it a fact, that I need to go shopping soon. Winter is coming to Germany. I can feel the cold. And I need some woolen sweaters, yes, I said woolen! The thing is, I don't really like artificial stuff. I go for melamine instead of plastic, but I prefer porcelain, ceramics and glass. I think my cloths are 90% from cotton, silk, wool and leather and honestly, I wanna keep it like that!

Yes, I like great designs and good prices and I don't have much money to spend, so, even if I want to support local designers and manufacturers, this is not always possible. I'd probably spend more at H&M, Zara and Co. than I would spend for local design, just because it's more affordable for me. But lately, the big ones make it so easy to let me stay away! I spotted some nice designs, but when I looked at their material tags there was no way to go for it.

Interesting, that my mom actually started to make her and my cloth, because she only found acrylics everywhere when I was little. This has changed for some 20 years, but it seems to be worse then ever now.

Ein Blick in meinen Kleiderschrank hat mir verraten, dass ich bald mal wieder einkaufen gehen muss. Der Winter kommt nach Deutschland und ich spüre die Kälte. Und ich brauche dringend ein paar Wollpullover, ja, ich sagte Wolle! Ich mag nämlich künstliches Zeug nicht sehr. Ich würde mich für Melanin anstatt von Plastik entscheiden, aber wirklich bevorzuge ich Porzellan, Keramik und Glas. I denke 90% meiner Kleidung sind aus Baumwolle, Seide, Wolle und Leder und - ehrlich - ich möchte, dass das so bleibt!


Ja, ich liebe gutes Design und gute Preise und ich habe auch nicht viel Geld auszugeben, also, auch wenn ich die örtlichen Designer und Manufakturen gerne unterstützen möchte, ich kann es schlicht nicht oft. Ich würde wahrscheinlich mehr Geld bei H&M, Zara und Co. ausgeben als für Design made in Deutschland, einfach, weil es eher zu meinem Geldbeutel passt. Aber in letzter Zeit, machen mir es die Großen so einfach mich von ihnen fern zu halten! I habe ein paar tolle Designs gefunden, aber nach einem Blick auf die Materialien war klar, das wird nichts mit uns.


Interessant, dass meine Mutter anfing ihre und meine Kleidung selbst zu machen, weil sie überall nur Acryl fand, als ich klein war. Das hatte sich für ca. 20 Jahre geändert, aber es scheint als sei es nun schlimmer denn je. 

Design... Neon

Well, not to say, that I didn't sleep well since then. But this set of Washi Masking Tape, I saw some days before didn't go out of my mind again and I just ordered (together with a diary).

Add: Gosh, I just realized, that I actually did my blog design in neon! So, that love must be in me without my knowledge! Do you think, healing crystals can change someones taste?

Als Kind der 80er finde ich Neonfarben seit ich denken kann schrecklich. Bis ich auf dieses Foto auf einem meiner Lieblingsblogs acreativemint stieß. 

Nun ja, ich kann nicht behaupten, dass ich seit dem schlecht geschlafen hätte, aber dieses Washi Masking Tape, dass ich einige Tage zuvor gesehen hatte, ging mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Ich hab' es gerade bestellt :) (zusammen mit einem Kalender, den ich auch super toll finde!)

Zusatz: Wahnsinn, gerade ist mir aufgefallen, dass meine Blogfarben auch neon sind! Also muss diese Liebe doch schon länger in mir schlummern, ohne mir bewußt gewesen zu sein! Meinst Du, dass Heilsteine den Geschmack verändern?

Strength for my man!

My man needs some strength, me, too, actually, but that's a different story. I'm not only supporting him because I love him. I also do, because I'm feared to loose him if he doesn't have the strength to fight for us. I believe that symbols make us feel stronger and when I saw this T-Shirt from AnLiStudio on Etsy I had to buy it. I hope, he feels the strength... (An Li was very helpful and replied fast to all my questions regarding the size. The T-Shirt came fast and fits perfect! The screen printed eagle is just as beautiful in real, as you see it on the photo!)

Mein Partner braucht Stärke. Ich auch, eigentlich, aber das ist eine andere Geschichte. Ich unterstütze ihn nicht nur weil ich ihn liebe, sondern auch weil ich Angst habe ihn zu verlieren, wenn er nicht die Stärke hat für uns zu kämpfen... Ich glaube an die Kraft von Symbolen und als ich dieses T-Shirt von AnLiStudio auf Etsy sah, musste ich es einfach kaufen... (An Li hat alle meine Emails schnelle beantwortet und das T-Shirt kam schnell in Deutschland an und passt perfekt! Der Siebdruck- Adler sieht in echt genauso schön aus, wie auf dem Foto!)
